Admission Procedure
Indian Institute of Management, Vishakhapatnam conducts a holistic admission process for its postgraduate courses. The student interested in applying at IIM Vishakhapatnam can apply through the institute's official website. Admission for the postgraduate degree programmes and Business Administration programmes are made according to the merits secured by the students in their undergraduate degree courses from a recognised university along with the merits secured by the applicants in the Common Admission Test (CAT).
For the doctoral degree course, the selection of the applicants is made according to the merits secured by the applicants in their postgraduate degree course from a recognised university along with the merits secured through the Common Admission Test (CAT) or Graduate Records Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). For the selection of the applicants for the executive doctoral degree programmes, the applicants are selected based on the merits secured by the applicants through their postgraduate programmes from a recognised university along with a minimum of eight years of working experience in a managerial position or an entrepreneurial experience.
