Indian Institute of Management, Nagpur (IIM Nagpur), was established in 2015 by the Government of India, and initially functioned under the mentorship of IIM Ahmedabad. Presently situated in a sprawling 132-acre Campus at Mihan, Nagpur, IIM Nagpur strives for excellence in management education through the use of innovative teaching methods, the promotion of high-quality research, and the practice of sustainable leadership.
Recognised as an Institute of National Importance, IIM Nagpur offers 2 postgraduate (PG) and 10 doctorate (PhD) courses for students to pursue. The PG courses are for the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA). Applications for admission can be submitted online via the official website of IIM Nagpur. Admission for PG courses is secured by the candidates on the basis of their merit in graduation and Common Admission Test (CAT). For the PhD courses, admission is secured on the candidate's merit in postgraduation and entrance examinations such as GMAT / GRE / GATE.
The highly qualified faculty at IIM Nagpur strive to create and disseminate knowledge maintaining the highest standards while pursuing excellence, innovations and inclusiveness. The Placement Team of IIM Nagpur arranges summer internships for the students, after completion of which, the final placements are offered in various nationally and internationally reputed organisations.

Admission Procedure

Admission for the postgraduate degree programmes and Business Administration programmes are made according to the merits secured by the students in their undergraduate degree courses from a recognised university along with the merits secured by the applicants in the Common Admission Test (CAT) or Graduate Records Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).
For the executive postgraduate courses, the selection of the applicants is made according to the merits secured by the applicants in their bachelor's degree courses along with a minimum of three years of working experience in a managerial or executive position in an organisation.
For the doctoral degree course, the selection of the applicants is made according to the merits secured by the applicants in their postgraduate degree course from a recognised university along with the merits secured through Common Admission Test (CAT) or Graduate Records Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).
For the selection of the applicants for the executive doctoral degree programmes, the applicants are selected based on the merits secured by the applicants through their postgraduate programmes from a recognised university along with a minimum of seven years of working experience in a managerial position or an entrepreneurial experience
