Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM Indore), was established in 1996 by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India. Recognised as an Institute of National Importance, IIM Indore is situated on a 193-acre sprawling hilltop campus and aspires to be a contextually relevant business school with world-class academic standards, producing socially responsible administrators, leaders, and entrepreneurs.
Students can pursue postgraduate (PG), integrated, and doctorate (PhD) courses at IIM Indore. The PG and integrated courses all provide the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA). Applications for admission to IIM Indore can be submitted online via their official website. Admission to the PG courses at IIM Indore is secured by candidates on the basis of their merit in graduation and Common Admission Test (CAT). For doctoral degrees, admission is secured on the basis of the candidate's merit in postgraduation and National Eligibility Test (NET) / Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) / Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) / GATE.
The highly qualified faculty of IIM Indore strives to create and disseminate knowledge maintaining the highest standards while pursuing excellence, innovations and inclusiveness. The Placement Team of IIM Indore arranges summer internships for the students, and then final placements at many institutions of national and international repute.
IIM Indore, provides the best available infrastructural support to ensure the holistic development of the students. The Library at IIM Indore has an extensive collection of books, journals and periodicals, as well as a digital section providing members access to a host of e-resources. Students are provided hostel accommodations separately for boys and girls at IIM Indore, with all necessary amenities. Regular classes at IIM Indore take place in spacious smart classrooms. The fully Wi-Fi-enabled Campus of IIM Indore also has a cafeteria, auditorium and seminar halls for the students and staff to avail.

Admission Procedure
Indian Institute of Management, Indore follows a holistic admission process for the students. applicants who are interested to apply at IIM Indore can apply through the official website of the institute. The selection of the applicants for the postgraduate degree in management is made according to the merits secured by the candidates in their undergraduate degree courses from a recognized university along with the rank secured through the Common Admission Test (CAT).
Selection for the applicants for the doctoral degree course is made upon the merits secured by the students in their postgraduate degree course from a recognised university along with the ranks and merits secured through the Common Admission Test (CAT). For the selection of the applicants for the executive postgraduate and doctoral degree courses, the selection is made upon the merits secured by the applicants in their bachelor's degree course from a recognised university along with a minimum of five years of working experience at an organization in a managerial or executive position.

IIM Indore has a well-functioning Placement team that looks after providing its students with every aspect of training and placement. The Placement team provides the students with summer internship programmes at various reputable organisations where the students can equip themselves with the most relevant industry skills and knowledge. After the student's successful completion of the summer internship, IIM Indore offers its students with the final placements, where the final placement system is segregated between three different clusters.
