One of the Indian Institutes of Information Technology of National Importance in the country, Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-Bhopal) was founded with the aim of providing facilities for advanced study, research, and training in a variety of information technology-related fields. The Ministry of Education, Government of India, plans to create twenty Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) on a Not-for-profit Public Private Partnership basis in order to address the issues the Indian IT industry is facing and the expansion of the domestic IT market. The MoE, the governments of the various States where each IIIT will be founded, and the industry will be partners in the establishment of the IIITs. In the same vein, the Ministry of Education, the Government of India, and a select group of business partners recently created Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-Bhopal) as a non-profit Public Private Partnership (N-PPP) institution. Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya is the industry partner of IIIT Bhopal (RGPV, Bhopal M.P.).Till its new campus is operational in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, IIIT-Bhopal is currently running from a makeshift campus at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal.
IIIT Bhopal offers the following three B.Tech programs: Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), and Information Technology (IT). The application form can be obtained from the college’s website.

IIIT-Bhopal is currently functioning from its makeshift campus at the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, until its new campus at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh is ready to be put into use. The infrastructure of IIIT Bhopal is designed to provide an optimal learning environment for its students. The classrooms at IIIT Bhopal are spacious and well-furnished, equipped with the latest audio-visual aids and technologies to support an interactive and engaging learning experience. IIIT Bhopal provides its students with a comprehensive and well-established library infrastructure. Students have access to a wide range of printed and electronic books, journals, magazines, and CDs. IIIT Bhopal also provides other facilities, such as a cafeteria and Nescafe facility, banking facilities, dispensary, and access to the facilities of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, such as cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, carom, chess and kabaddi courts, a gymnasium and a sports complex. Additionally, IIIT Bhopal also has table tennis, carom, chess, and other indoor game facilities.
IIIT, Bhopal has a well-functioning Placement & Training cell for its students. The cell also takes part in organizing training & internship. The IIIT Bhopal Internship Program gives students the chance to choose several career routes while discovering their interests, talents, strengths, and values. As many as two to four internships may be completed by our students within their academic degree. Admission Procedure
IIIT Bhopal is operating the following three B.Tech programmes: Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) , Information Technology (IT)
The selection of the candidates for the B.Tech degree courses is made according to the merit secured by the students in their 10+2 or equivalent in the required science subject from a recognized board.
In order to oversee and control the joint seat allocation for admissions to IIIT Bhopal, the Ministry of Education established the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA)/Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). The aforementioned single application process will be used to admit students to all of IIIT Bhopal's academic programmes.
