Admission Procedure
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad conducts a holistic admission process for its courses offered. The students interested in seeking admission at this esteemed institute can apply through the official website of IIIT Allahabad. The selection of the candidates for the undergraduate degree courses is made according to the merits secured by the students in their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board in the required science subjects along with the merits secured by the applicants in their Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
The selection of the applicants for the postgraduate degree course is made according to the merits secured by the applicants in their undergraduate degree courses in the relevant subject discipline from a recognised university along with the merits secured by the applicants in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). For the postgraduate degree course in Management and Business Administration, the selection of the applicants is made upon the merits secured by the applicants in their undergraduate degree course from a recognised university along with the merits secured by the applicants in the Common Admission Test (CAT). For the doctoral degree course, the selection of the applicants is made upon the merits secured by the applicants in their postgraduate degree course in the relevant subject discipline from a recognised university.
