The community at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata is provided with the best infrastructural amenities with respect to both academics and non-academics.
The IACS, Kolkata library holds one of the prestigious positions as one of the oldest libraries in eastern India. IACS, Kolkata provides both online and offline facilities for Library. The primary objective of the library is to organize, acquire and utilize the study materials for the purpose of equal dissemination of data and information relevant to the education served by the organization. There are numerous books, standards, report journals and serials, CD/DVD-ROM, Thesis, Micro-Film, and Micro-Fiche. There is an internet facility inside the library that promotes access to the online database of the IACS, Kolkata library by all. CCRES is the Center for Computer Research, Education, and Services at IACS that assists in any kind of computer-specific presentations, publications of scientific papers, processing of administrative and accounting data, etc. The institution owns a pioneering journal in India that was founded by Sir CV Raman.
There are different workshops for various kinds of disciplines such as civil engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical, and refrigeration. IACS, Kolkata owns a seminar hall that is used for various events on science by organizations outside the institution also.
For housing facilities, IACS, Kolkata provides the Meghnad Saha Guest house and Ashutosh Mukherjee Guest House. Other than these there is a cafeteria corner and a swimming pool. IACS takes necessary precautions for any kind of medical emergency.
