Holy Cross College, Tiruchirappalli (HCC Tiruchirapalli) is a Catholic Institution established in the year 1923 serving for nine and a half decades as an eminent Arts and Science College for women in the state of Tamil Nadu. HCC is considered one of the oldest colleges in south India for women.
Affiliated with Bharathidashan University, HCC Tiruchirapalli offers a wide range of courses including undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs. The admission procedure of HCC Tiruchirapalli follows an online mode. Administered by the Sisters of the Cross of Chavanod, Province of Tiruchirappalli HCC Tiruchirapalli is missioned towards imparting knowledge to the girls of Tiruchirapalli irrespective of their caste, creed, or any socio-economic barriers.

Holy Cross College, Tiruchirapalli follows the process of online admission. HCC Tiruchirapalli offers with UG, PG, MPhil and PhD courses in a variety of fields. Candidates are admitted for UG/PG/Research Programs in accordance with the guidelines established by Bharatidasan University. B.Sc, B.Com and B.A applicants need to have passed (10+2) or any equivalent exam with subjects based on Science, Commerce and Arts respectively.

The Head of the Departments and professors engage themselves with the students in the practical and theoretical analysis of the study, in order to help the students in learning, gathering knowledge, and developing in the study of Science, Arts and Commerce.
Placements
Holy Cross College, Tiruchirapalli has a Career Guidance Cell (CGC) in order to ensure the employability chances of the students. The CGC provides Career Counselling, Communication skills, Personality Development, Aptitude tests, 30 Hours of Entrepreneurial skill-based Certificate courses, and Guidance for Competitive Exams. The CGC also provides SET and NET training for GRE / TOEFL / GATE / CAT / GMAT / IELTS exams. The Campus Placement Cell organizes Campus Drive for the final year students. HCC Tiruchirapalli also has a Human Resource Development Program (HRD). The HRD conducts training programs to equip the students with employability skills for better job opportunities. The main objectives of HRD are in assisting the students in developing and employing successful job search strategies, promoting career counseling by organizing guest speakers, and developing students' communication skills and personalities through seminars and classes. HRD also assists the students in acquiring placement in reputed companies. Some of the recruiters who visit HCC, Tiruchirapalli are Wipro, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Byju’s, Capgemini and many more.
