Established in 2000 by the Industrialist and Philanthropist Thiru.T.S.R.Khannaiyann of Hindusthan Educational Trust, Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore (HCET Coimbatore) is an autonomous institution affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, and is recognized under Section 2(f) and 12B of University Grants Commission (UGC), and approved by AICTE. Thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm of Thiru.T.S.R.Khannaiyann, HCET Coimbatore was made possible.
HCET Coimbatore offers BE, Btech, MCA, MBA, ME, and Ph.D. degrees. HCET Coimbatore follows an online admission procedure and the form can be obtained from the college's website.
HCET Coimbatore has dedicated and trained faculty. The goals of the faculty are to deliver academic excellence in technical education using cutting-edge instructional techniques and to develop leadership abilities and creativity among students.
HCET Coimbatore has spacious classrooms that are equipped with modern teaching aids, such as projectors and audiovisual systems, to enhance the learning experience of the students.HCET Coimbatore has departmental labs for various courses, which are well-equipped with the latest equipment and software to help students gain practical knowledge in their respective fields. HCET Coimbatore's library is one of the finest in the region, with more than 82,365 volumes of books, including reference books, textbooks, and journals. The library also provides access to online databases, e-books, and e-journals. HCET Coimbatore has a 10-acre playground with a 200-meter track for athletic events. The college has an indoor stadium with a 93 m2 area for playing indoor sports such as table tennis, carrom, and chess. HCET Coimbatore also has outdoor playgrounds, play-courts for cricket, basketball court, football, tennis, shuttle court, volleyball, kabaddi, and ball badminton. There is also a gym and fitness center for the students. HCET Coimbatore provides bus facilities for students to commute to and from the college. HCET Coimbatore provides separate hostels for boys and girls, with all necessary amenities such as study tables, chairs, and comfortable beds. HCET Coimbatore has a cafeteria that provides hygienic and nutritious food to students and staff.

Admission Procedure

For UG admission, candidates must pass HSC(10+2) from any board. Candidates for PG admission, must complete graduation from any university. The final selection for ME admission will be based on the score contained in TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test ) / CET (Common Entrance Test )/ GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) conducted by the university; for MBA admission, MAT(Management Aptitude Test) / TANCET / CET and for MCA admission, TANCET / CET scores will be required.
And for PhD degree, candidates must have master's degree from any university.
