Admission Procedure
Haridwar University, Roorkee is conducted in both online and physical mode. HU Roorkee provides different courses like undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma. The undegraduate courses includes Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Hotel Administration (BHA), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A). Postgraduate courses consist of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Technology (M.Tech), and Master of Science (M.Sc). HU Roorkee also has doctoral degree programs offering Doctor of Pharmacy (D.Pharm) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in different specialisations.
Admission to most courses are conducted on the basis of merit. Admission to B.Tech, B.Pharm, Diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic), and M.Tech courses is based on Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) rank. For admission to the B.A Tourism Management and BHM courses, marks of National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) are considered.

Scholarships
Haridwar University, Roorkee provides a number of scholarships for encouraging students towards academic excellence. Students who secure more than 75% marks are given an academic excellence award. Two scholarship awards namely “Ramesh Chand Memorial Award” and “Laxmi Mittal Memorial Award” are offered to students securing the highest marks in foundation engineering. HU Roorkee further provides assistance to students by helping students in the process of applying for education loans to banks and providing the option of paying semester fees through monthly installments.
