Admission to the Government Quota is administered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu. Those wishing to be considered for admission must have taken the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) which is hosted by Anna University. Furthermore, those wishing to apply for MBA admission under the Management Quota must have taken the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Consortium of Self-Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamilnadu.
