Graphic Era University, Dehradun (GEU Dehradun) had its inception in 1993. GEU Dehradun was accorded the status of deemed-to-be-University in 2008. It also bagged a prominent place in the All India University [AIU] category. GEU Dehradun caters from undergraduate to doctoral level courses in a variety of divisions e.g. Engineering and Technology, Management; Hotel Management and Hospitality, Paramedical Sciences, Computer Application, Humanities, etc. GEU Dehradun offers an ample number of undergraduate programs in its various departments by granting the following degrees: Bachelor of Technology [B. Tech] in Computer Science with specialisation in Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, etc; Aerospace; Mechanical with majors like Aerospace Engineering, Robotic and Automation, Automobile and other minor options; Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communications, Petroleum Engineering, etc; Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] with certain specialisations; Bachelor of Hotel Management [BHM]; Bachelor of Science [B. Sc.] in Geology honours, Medical Microbiology, Operation Theatre, Biotechnology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology [IT], etc; Bachelor of Computer Application [BCA]; Bachelor of Commerce [B. Tech.] in Visual Design and Systems, Geo-Informatics, Structural Engineering, etc; Master of Science [M. Sc.] in Food Technology, Environmental Science, Biochemistry, etc; Master of Business Administration [MBA] with a wide range of specialisation options in avid genres of study e.g. Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Agri-Business Management, Banking and Insurance, Branding and Advertisement, Hospitality Management, etc; Master of Science [M. Sc] in Applied Geology, Information Technology, and Chemistry; Master of Computer Application [MCA]; Master of Hotel Management [MHM]; and Master of Arts [M. A.] in Applied Psychology, English, etc. The doctoral program is offered within all departments with the subjects of Chemistry, Environmental Science, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management Studies, Microbiology, Biotechnology, etc.

The infrastructure of GEU Dehradun conveys a pleasant student-friendly ambience that has complete wifi connectivity throughout the campus. The classrooms and seminar halls are equipped with Information and Communication tools [ICT] installed and audio-visual learning methods. It is a residential campus offering housing facilities to the outstation students, along with dining and sports opportunities like cricket, Football, Basketball, etc, and indoor games like carroms, chess, etc. Students may avail of the fitness centres as well to conduct exercises along with sports. The laboratories are of high quality and have well sufficient apparatuses to seamlessly involve in research works.
