Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Durgapur follows an online method in admission procedure followed by a selection procedure based mainly on the merit score and eligibility criteria of the applicants. NEET entrance exam is compulsory for MBBS aspirants.

Admission Procedure
Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Durgapur (GDIMSHD) follows an online method of admission. Admissions to GDIMSHD are mainly based on the merit and eligibility criteria of the applicants.
GDIMSHD offers Undergraduate course under the faculty of MBBS degree and Diploma courses in medical respectively. Aspiring MBBS applicants at GDIMSHD must appear for NEET entrance exam and accordingly, admission occurs following the rank of the applicants. Aspiring MBBS and Diploma applicants of GDIMSHD must have passed (10+2) or any equivalent examination with PCM combination and Biology as a main subject.
