Goa College of Pharmacy, Panaji (GCP Panaji), initially started as a Department in the Medical College, Escola Medica de Goa, before being renamed and receiving a dedicated Campus under the aegis of the Government of Goa. Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), GCP Panaji is affiliated to Goa University.
Students can pursue 1 undergraduate (UG), 4 postgraduate (PG), 1 diploma (DIP) and 1 doctorate (PhD) courses at GCP Panaji. The UG course is for the degree of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) while the PG courses are for Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in different specialisations. Admission to GCP Panaji takes place online.

The Library at GCP Panaji has an extensive collection of books, journals and periodicals, as well as a digital section providing members access to a host of e-resources. Students are provided hostel accommodations separately for boys and girls at GCP Panaji, along with all necessary amenities. Regular classes at GCP Panaji take place in spacious classrooms, while practical sessions are conducted in course-specific specialised laboratories. The fully Wi-Fi-enabled Campus of GCP Panaji has a cafeteria providing excellent food, and running tracks as well.

Admission Procedure
Goa College of Pharmacy, Panaji follows an online method of admission. Applicants to GCP Panaji are selected based on their merit and eligibility criteria, GCP Panaji offers Diploma, Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Doctorate courses under the faculty of Pharmacy. Aspiring Diploma and Undergraduate applicants to GCP Panaji must have passed Higher Secondary Examination from any recognized board in Science stream with Life Sciences subjects (Biology/Zoology/Botany). Aspiring Post Graudate applicants to GCP, Panaji must have secured Bachelors Degree from any recognized University. Aspiring Ph.D applicants to GCP Panaji must have secured M.Pharm or Post Graduate degree from any recognized University.
