Admission Procedure

Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Guwahati offers an Undergraduate  Bachelor of Pharmacy and a Postgraduate Master of Pharmacy with various specializations. Interested candidates can apply through their official website. To apply for their degree candidate must qualify for basic admission criteria. GCIPS Guwahati conducts admission as per the Pharmacy Council of India. For their B.Pharm degree candidate must qualify the higher secondary examination with a science discipline from a recognized board. And Candidates must qualify for an entrance examination conducted by the institute. Final admission is based on a personal interview and a merit basis

GCIPS Guwahati also offers Master, PhD and Diploma degrees.  To apply for their master's degree candidates must complete graduation in B. Pharm with 60%marks. And the candidate must qualify for an entrance examination as per the guidelines of the Pharmacy Council of India. And for PhD degree candidates must qualify for an entrance examination USC-CSIR / UGC-NET/ GPAT/ SLET/ ASTU-RET with valid marks. Final admission is based on a personal interview basis.
