George College, Sealdah (GC Sealdah) is a private higher education institute associated with the George Group of Colleges. GC Sealdah was established in 2001 as an institution affiliated with the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). GC Sealdah is a University Grants Commission (UGC)-recognised institution affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal.
George College, Sealdah campus is equipped with spacious ICT-enabled classrooms, well-equipped computer laboratories, seminar and workshop halls, a library enabled with a book bank facility, question banks, digitized resources offering e-book facilities, and a reading room. The campus is a wi-fi enabled zone and offers several extra-curricular and sports facilities including recreation rooms for indoor games and fields and courts for outdoor sports. GC Sealdah campus also offers shuttle services in the form of bus pick-up and drop-off facilities from hostels to the campus and vice versa.

GC Sealdah also offers postgraduate programmes including Master’s of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science.
GC Sealdah also organises and hosts several cultural and extra-academic programmes and festivals such as annual fests, seminars, interactive sessions with industry professionals, field trips, webinars, sports meets, and intra-college debate competitions. GC Sealdah also conducts various cultural and festive celebrations throughout the year at the student hostels; some of these include Bihu, Cham dance, bamboo dance, Naga war dance, Thimpu Tsheche, and the Haa summer festival. GC Sealdah offers admission to candidates who have completed their 10+2 examinations in the respective subjects and streams from a recognized board. Undergraduate admissions are conducted on a merit basis, and candidates must fill out the online application form available on the college website to register for various programmes. George College, Sealdah (co-ed) offers undergraduate courses like Bachelor in Media Science (BMSc), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Sports Management (BSM), Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) with various specializations. Candidates must have completed their 10+2 examination in the relevant subjects or stream from a recognized board to be considered for undergraduate programmes. All UG courses selections are merit-based. For the application process, interested candidates must visit the official website, and fill out the form.
GC Sealdah also offers a postgraduate degree as Master of Science (M.Sc) in Computer Science applying to which the students are required to have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized University along with qualifying marks in the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the MAKAUT.
