In honor of a distinguished Assamese author and one of GCC Guwahati's founding fathers, the library of GCC Guwahati has been given the name of the Late Dr. Birinchi Kumar Baruah. There is a book bank option aimed at underprivileged and needy students.GCC Guwahati also provides an academic seminar hall with a sitting capacity of 150 as well as an auditorium with a capacity of 500 for special events and seminars. A Video Conference Hall with a capacity of 65 is also available for conducting online conferences and lectures. Moreover, GCC Guwahati has a hostel facility for boys only, which offers modern amenities like an in-house canteen, a playground, a separate common room, and a gymnasium hall. GCC Guwahati has state-of-the-art infrastructure to provide students with the best learning experience. In April 2007, GCC Guwahati established its Placement Cell.
