Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, Visakhapatnam (GITAM Visakhapatnam), was established in 1980 and is a Campus of GITAM, Vishakhapatnam (Deemed to be University). Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), GITM Visakhapatnam offers 39 undergraduate (UG), 39 postgraduate (PG), and 38 doctorate (PhD) courses for students to pursue.
The UG courses are in streams of Science, Commerce, Arts, Architecture, Engineering, Law, and Management and Business Administration; while the PG courses are in Science, Arts, Architecture, Engineering, Law, Allied Health Sciences, and Management and Business Administration. Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, Visakhapatnam(GITASM, Visakhapatnam) follows an online method of admission. Applicants to GITAM, Visakhapatnam are selected based on their merit and eligibility criteria. GITM, Visakhapatnam offers Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Doctorate courses mainly under the faculty of Science, Arts, Engineering, Management and Law. Aspiring applicants must appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test (GAT). Selection of the applicants are done based on the marks and rank secured in the entrance examination.
Aspiring BA, BBA LLB and BBA (Undergraduate) applicants to GITM, Visakhapatnam must have passed Higher Secondary Examination from any recognized board in any stream. Aspiring BSc and Btech applicants to GITM, Visakhapatnam must have passed Higher Secondary Examination from any recognized board with 55% aggregate marks in respective subjects according to the concerned departments.
Aspiring Post Graduate applicants to GITM, Visakhapatnam must have secured Bachelors Degree from any recognized University with 50% aggregate marks in respective subjects according to the concerned department.
Aspiring Doctorate (PhD) applicants to GITM, Visakhapatnam must have secured Masters Degree form any recognized University with respective courses according to the concerned department.
