Gandhi Institute for Technological Advancement (GITA), Bhubaneswar (Autonomous) is a private engineering college in Odisha. GITA Bhubaneswar is a DSRO-approved Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) affiliated with the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT). The institute was established in 2004 under the Vidya Bharati Educational Trust. The motto of GITA Bhubaneswar is “Excellence Unbridled”. GITA Bhubaneswar offers a variety of science and technology courses over a gamut of specialisations. Degrees offered include Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.), Master of Technology (M.Tech.), Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.), and Master of Business Administration (M.C.A.) over various specialisations such as Computer Science and Engineering, IT, AI, Data Science, AIML, IOT, Electrical Engineering, EEE, ECE, Power System, Mechanical Engineering, Thermal, Production Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Admission into GITA Bhubaneswar is conducted based on candidates’ Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main ranks, followed by OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) counselling. Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria of completing their 10+2 examinations with a minimum of 45% in the science stream.

GITA Bhubaneswar also offers a variety of government scholarships such as the "Medhabruti Scholarship" and the "PMS Scholarship” to help students hailing from the economically-weaker sections of society. The GITA Bhubaneswar campus is CCTV-surveilled and wi-fi enabled with smart classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, a well-equipped library with digitalized facilities, and sports facilities in the form of gymnasiums and expansive fields and courts for football, cricket, basketball, and volleyball. The campus also houses a spacious 300-seater auditorium, an amphitheatre, and a medical dispensary for emergencies and health issues. The institute also hosts and organises several cultural and philanthropic initiatives besides boasting academic accomplishments. As part of its institute social responsibility (ISR), GITA Bhubaneswar organises free coaching classes for higher secondary school students from nearby villages.
