Farook College, Kozhikode (FC Kozhikode) represents a significant milestone in Kerala Muslims' resurgence. FC Kozhikode was established in 1948 to dispel the darkness that enveloped a society that had been rendered helpless by extraordinary colonial oppression and unfair laws. The Rouzathul Uloom Association, the campus's educational complex's parent organisation, took the initiative to change the area's social structure by enlarging the secular educational system. When Farook College first opened, it was the only First Grade College in Central Malabar and was initially affiliated with Madras University, today the esteemd institute is affiliated to the University of Calicut. Today, FC Kozhikode is the largest residential postgraduate institution in the state. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has designated FC Kozhikode as a College with Potential for Excellence, making it the first college affiliated with the University of Calicut to be given this designation.

FC Kozhikode provides 21 undergraduate, 16 postgraduate, and 11 research programmes in a variety of subject areas. Admission to FC Kozhikode is done online, and the application form can be obtained on the college's website, https://www.farookcollege.ac.in/.

Admission Procedure

Farook College, Kozhikode (FC Kozhikode) follows an online method of admission. Applicants to FC Kozhikode are selected based on their merit and eligibility criteria. FC Kozhikode offers undergraduate courses like BA in Functional English and English Language and Literature, B.Com in Computer Application and B.Voc in Automobile (Auto Electrical and Electronics) and Software Development along with Post Graduate courses like MA in Journalism and Mass Communication and M.Sc in Psychology.

The students applying to the undergraduate courses are required to have qualifying marks in their 10+2 examination from a recognized board and for postgraduate courses, the students are required to have qualifying marks in their Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
