About VITEEE 2024

 

In order to trace out potent and competent scholars through accurate evaluation and to admit a number of selected candidates to the Undergraduate engineering programs it provides, the VIT group of Institutions organizes its self-conducted online entrance exam. Based on their performance and obtained merit score on the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE), candidates are enrolled in numerous Engineering (B. Tech.) courses offered at Vellore Institute of Technology. VIT group of institutions conducts the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) in four of its centres at Vellore, Chennai, AP, and Bhopal where unique courses in Engineering (B. Admission Procedure for VITEEE 2024

 

The following stages were involved in the application procedure for VITEEE 2024

  • Step 1: New User Registration

  • Step 2: Sign in for Registered users

  • Step 3: Filling out the online application form

  • Step 4: Paying the Application Fee

  • Step 5: Photo & Signature Upload

  • Step  6: Downloading the filled-in application form

 

 

Eligibility for VITEEE 2024

 

The eligibility criteria of the seekers have been distinctly defined by the authorities of the Vellore Institute of Technology on their official website. The eligibility criteria for different aspects include nationality, age limit, score cards of the prerequisite examinations from a recognized board, and the eligibility of the subject combination being chosen by the seeker has been vividly mentioned. 

 

  • Nationality: The candidates should be Resident/ Non-Residential Indian/PIO.

  • Age Limit: Candidates must be born on or after 1st July 2001 and are eligible to apply for UG Engineering admission.

  • Qualification: Those who have completed their class XII with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology with at least 60% aggregate marks can apply for the test.

  • The minimum aggregate mark is 50% for SC/ ST candidates and candidates belonging to the states of Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states.

  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

English- MCQs to test the comprehension of a short passage or line of poems, English grammar, and pronunciations. The test items will be selected from the higher secondary course of study.

Examination Pattern of VITEEE 2024

 

The examination is conducted in English and will last two hours and thirty minutes. Candidates can only appear for VITEEE once. All questions will be multiple choice, with one mark for correct answers and zero for incorrect answers. There will be 125 questions in total, divided into the following sections: Math/Biology (40 questions), Physics (35 questions), Chemistry (35 questions), Aptitude (10 questions), and English (5 questions).

 

Result Announcement Expected Date of VITEEE 2024

 

The results for VITEEE 2024 will be publish by VIT on 03 May 2024. Candidates can check their results from the official website of VIT.
