NMIMS NPAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

 

Candidates desiring to appear for the NPAT must fulfil the following criteria of eligibility:

  • Candidates of CBSE / ICSE should mention in the online registration / e-admission form (if selected) for 10+2 or equivalent examination, the aggregate marks of all the subjects the candidate has taken/opted and appeared for (not best of four, five, six or seven). The candidate shall have passed all the subjects he/she has taken/opted for and appeared in the applicable examination/s in a single attempt. The aggregate percentage of all subjects the candidate has taken/opted for and appeared in will be taken into consideration for confirming the eligibility of the candidate for the program at the time of admission. 

  • In case the mark sheet issued by the applicable Board / Institution is in percentile/s, the actual aggregate percentage of all the subjects appeared by the candidate will be taken into consideration.

  • Those candidates who have passed or are appearing (all subject/s taken/opted) for 10+2 examination from a Board / University where Grade Point Average is given, must produce in writing from the Board / University concerned, the equivalent percentage for the GPA / CGPA obtained.

  • Candidates passing the 10+2 or equivalent examination from open or distance learning (ODL) are also eligible to apply for the exam. In this case, the school should be recognised by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).

  • Candidates must have obtained an aggregate of 60% in 10+2 or equivalent examination.

  • Candidates who have not been able to clear 10+2 either from CBSE or ICSE board or IB diploma in their first attempt are not eligible for the NPAT exam.

  • Candidates having cleared either CBSE/ ICSE board exam need to mention the aggregate marks of all the subjects of Class 10 or equivalent examination. The marks of the best of four or five subjects will not be considered.

  • Candidates exceeding the age of 25 years are not eligible to apply for the exam.

  • For the following courses, the candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria.

Minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics / Statistics subject mandatory for all campuses.

B.Sc. – Economics

Minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics / Statistics subject mandatory for all campuses.

BBA - Branding and Advertising

Minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination

B. A (Hons.) – Liberal arts

Minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination

Bachelor in Business Management & Marketing

Minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination
