About NMIMS-CET 2024

 

NMIMS, founded in 1981, is now a highly regarded global university with strong industry connections. NMIMS-CET, conducted by NMIMS, is a common entrance test for admission to their undergraduate programs such as B.Tech (4 years), B.Tech + MBA Tech (5 years), and B.Pharm + MBA Pharma Tech (5 years). This university-level exam aims to select candidates for various programs.

The B.Tech and MBA (Tech) programs are available at the Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management Engineering (MPSTME) and School of Technology Management Engineering (STME) campuses in Mumbai, Shirpur, Navi Mumbai, and Indore. The B.Pharm + MBA (Pharma Tech) program is offered by the Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy & Technology Management (SPTM) in Mumbai and the School of Pharmacy Management (SPTM) in Shirpur and Hyderabad.

The NMIMS-CET is an objective type multiple-choice exam with a duration of 120 minutes. It's worth noting that there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Application Procedure for NMIMS-CET 2024 

 

The application process for NMIMS-CET is conducted online through the official website, which is https://apply.nmims.edu/nmims-cet. Candidates are required to register online by creating an account and then proceed with filling out the application form. During the registration process, candidates need to upload their photograph, scanned signature, and a copy of their 10th and 12th Std. Mark sheets. Applicants are also required to make the application fee payment online and have the option to download and print the filled-in application form in standard formats.

Here is a step-by-step guide for the NMIMS-CET application process:

  1. Visit the official website of NMIMS at www.nmims.edu or www.nmimscet.in. 

  2. Click on "Apply Now" to start the registration process and create an account.

  3. Select the desired test category, school, program, and campus preferences based on the eligibility criteria.

  4. Candidates can choose multiple test categories, schools, and program preferences.

  5. The registration fees will depend on the number of schools selected and the total retakes.

  6. Only paid candidates will be allowed to schedule the exam.

  7. Candidates can choose the main exam attempt and two retakes for each examination category, with a total of three attempts allowed.

  8. It is important not to register multiple times for the same exam category to avoid being blocked from admission.

  9. After successful registration and payment, candidates can schedule the exams by choosing the test dates and test centres.

  10. The availability of test dates and centres will be subject to capacity and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

  11. Candidates must schedule their examinations.

  12. Once the exam is scheduled, a confirmation email from pearsonvueconfirmations@pearson.com will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID.

  13. Candidates are required to present the same email or admit card at the test centre on the day of the exam.

  14. Separate emails will be received for each scheduled exam.

NMIMS-CET is an examination that offers candidates the opportunity to pursue various programs at NMIMS campuses, including B. Tech, B. Tech & MBA Tech (5-year program), and B. NMIMS-CET 2024 Examination Pattern

NIMIS-CET 2024 Outcomes

 

The NMIMS-CET examination results are announced in the form of a merit list, which is compiled by the respective authorities based on the candidates' performance in the exam.

Candidates who have appeared for the exam will be called for counselling based on their merit. During the counselling session, candidates will be granted admission to various specializations according to their merit, choice, and the availability of specialization, while also considering the eligibility criteria.
