Marking system 

For each correct answer for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology +1 marks will be awarded. For each correct answer in Mathematics, +2 marks will be awarded

Negative Marking 

No

The examination pattern is divided into two patterns. One examination pattern is for PCM candidates and another for PCB candidates. 

 

The examination pattern for PCM candidates are:

  • Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.

  • Medium of Examination: English/ Hindi/ Marathi/ Urdu, but for Mathematics, it can be only attempted in Urdu. 

  • Number of Questions: 150 questions in total (50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).

  • Marking Scheme: +1 mark for each correct answer for Physics and Chemistry +2 marks for each correct answer for Mathematics.

  • No negative marking.

  • Time duration: 180 Minutes.

The examination pattern for the PCB candidates are:

  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.

  • Medium of Examination: Marathi/English/Urdu.

  • Number of Questions: 200 questions in total (50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).

  • Marking Scheme: +1 mark for each correct answer for Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

  • No negative marking.

  • Time duration: 180 Minutes.
