About KIITEE 2024

 

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE) is an entrance examination conducted by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), which is a deemed university located in Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha. The university was established in 1992 and has since grown to become one of the most prominent institutions of higher education in India.

KIITEE is held annually for admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the university, except MBBS, BDS, PG Medical and PG Dental. KIITEE 2024 Application Procedure

 

Candidates can apply for KIITEE 2024 online via the official web portal of the examination: http://www.kiitee.ac.in  or the official website of KIIT: http://www.kiit.ac.in.   

Application form and Prospectus for KIITEE 2024 are only available online and not in hardcopy. In order to successfully complete the online application procedure, candidates need to complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to the KIIT website  

  2. Select ‘Online Application.’

  3. Go through the Instructions to fill up the form.

  4. Fill up the Online Application Form and click on the submit button.

  5. Upload Photographs, Signature and 10th Mark sheet/Certificate to complete the application process.

Eligibility Criteria for KIITEE 2024

BTech

BTech+MTech (Biotechnology)

  • Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination or equivalent in 2022, 2023 or 2024.

  • Candidates should secure a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (or Biology/Biotechnology in case of an integrated Biotechnology course)

  • Candidates should have been born on or after 01 July 2003. 

BArch

  • Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, as well as in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

  • Candidates should pass the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture in 2024.

BSc (Nursing)

  • Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate, and Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects.

  • Lower age limit of candidates is 17 years as of 31 December 2023 and the upper age limit is 35 years as of 31 December 2023.

  • Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination or equivalent from any stream with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

  • In the case of BSc+LLB, candidates need to pass the 10+2 level examination or equivalent from the science stream with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination from any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Economics / Statistics as one of the subjects. 

BCA

Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination from any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and Mathematics as one of the subjects.

BDes (Fashion/Textile)

Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination from any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

BFTP

Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination from any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

BCJ

Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination from any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

BSc (Computer Science)

Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination or equivalent from any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and Mathematics as one of the subjects.

BA (Economics) Hons

Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination or equivalent from any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

BA (English) Hons

Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination or equivalent from any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

BA (Sociology) Hons

Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination or equivalent from any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

BA (Psychology) Hons

Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination or equivalent from any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

BA (Anthropology) Hons

Candidates should pass the 10+2 level examination or equivalent from any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

MCA

Any Graduate with a minimum 50% mark in graduation or equivalent having mathematics either in 10+2 or graduation level as one of the subjects.

MTech

Int.M.Tech & PhD

  • First Class B.E. or B.Tech. or equivalent Degree (e.g. AMIE, GRADE-IETE etc) in respective branches of Engineering and Technology with a First Class or equivalent CGPA or First Class MCA / First Class M.Sc. in (Comp/IT/ETC).

  • GATE-qualified candidates shall be accorded preference in the process of selection. GATE-qualified candidates having a Score of 400 or above need not sit in the entrance Examination.

M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Applied Microbiology)

Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/ Agriculture/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary / Engineering / Technology / Medicine (MBBS/BDS) with at least 55% marks.

M.Sc. Nursing

  • Candidate should be a registered Nurse or Registered midwife or equivalent with any state Nursing Registration Council.

  • .The candidate should have undergone B.Sc.Nursing/B.Sc.Hons.Nursing/Post-Basic B.Sc.Nursing in an institution which is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

  • Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing

  • Candidate should be medically fit.

LLM

Candidate should have passed B.A.LLB/BBA LLB/B.Sc.LLB/B.L, degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized university and must have secured at least 55% of marks in aggregate.

Master of Public Health

Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in any Health Science(MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS BNYS/BPT/BSc Nursing (Basic or Post Basic)/BPharm/) discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Master of Hospital Administration

Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS BNYS/BPT/BSc Nursing (Basic or Post Basic)/BPharm/BSc in Allied Health Sciences/ Bachelor's degree in Arts/Commerce/Science/Law from a recognized university with min. 50% marks in aggregate.

MSc.in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics with Data Sciences

B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree with at least 60% marks, Students possessing a Bachelor's Degree in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics as one of the main subjects or Engineering graduates with a strong aptitude for the above areas is eligible to apply. Students who are in the final year of graduation may also apply.

M.A(Yoga Therapy)

Graduates in any discipline are eligible.

M.Sc.ComputerScience

Candidates must have a B.Sc degree in Computer Science / IT /Mathematics /Electronics /Physics /Chemistry /BCA with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

M.Arch

Candidates must have a B.Arch degree with a minimum 50% aggregate mark.

MA in Economics

The candidate must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with one subject as Economics / Mathematics / Statistics with at least a 60% mark.

MA in  English

The candidate must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with one subject as English with at least 60% mark.

MA in Sociology

The candidate must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with at least 60% mark.

M.Com

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Management or Commerce from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

MA in Psychology

The candidate must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with one subject as English with at least 60% mark.

Master of Communication & Journalism

The candidate must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with at least a 50% mark.

MA/M.Sc Public Policy

Any Graduate with a minimum 60% mark in graduation or equivalent to having mathematics/ statistics/ Business mathematics either in 10+2 or graduation level as one of the subjects.

MA in Spiritualism/Leadership

The candidate must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with at least 60% mark.

MA in Anthropology

Candidate having general or Honors in Anthropology or BA in any discipline or BSc. in Botany/ zoology/ Geology/Biotechnology with at least 60% mark.

KIITEE 2024 Outcomes

 

KIITEE 2024 results will be based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance examination. Separate merit lists will be compiled for the different undergraduate and postgraduate courses that are available. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology will fix a qualifying mark cut-off when the KIITEE 2024 results are declared. The results will be published through the KIIT's websites: http://www.kiitee.ac.in and http://www.kiit.ac.in, and candidates will be able to view their results by entering their respective application numbers. Furthermore, candidates can also download their rank cards from the website.

Once the availability of seats for the different courses has been determined, a cut-off rank for counselling will be established. Candidates who have a rank above the cut-off rank will be called for counselling.
