To access the EAMCET results for 2023 online, candidates need to enter their hall ticket number and registration number.

Candidates will be ranked based on the EAPCET normalized marks (with a weightage of 75%) and their 10+2 scores (with a weightage of 25%), in order of merit. The rank card can be downloaded from the website https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

AP EAPCET Rank Card 2023

AP EAPCET Results 2023 - Normalisation Process

Given that the AP EAPCET follows the same syllabus and schedule across different sessions, there may be a disparity in the difficulty level of the questions. To account for this, a process of normalisation is carried out to ensure that all sessions of the AP EAPCET are on an equal footing in terms of difficulty.

The AP EAPCET normalisation method is carried out using a straightforward formula that was adopted on the advice of specialists from reputable universities and all-Indian educational institutions. Below is the AP EAPCET normalisation formula.

  1.  SMS stands for (Average + Standard Deviation) of the session to which the applicant belongs.

  2.  GMS stands for (Average + Standard Deviation) of all candidates across all sessions taken collectively.

  3.  Top Average Session refers to the session in which the applicant is enrolled and the top 0.1% of all candidates' average marks.

  4.  Top Average Global is the average score received by the top 0.1% of applicants across all sessions.

In essence, the purpose of the AP EAPCET 2023 normalisation is to defend the candidates who received a challenging exam in comparison to an easy exam. Based on the average performance in each session, the AP EAPCET normalisation method may result in a minor increase in the marks for the harder paper and a marginal decrease in the marks for the easy session.

AP EAPCET Result 2023 - Tie Breaking Rule

In the event that two or more applicants receive identical scores on the AP EAPCET 2023 exam, the authorities will utilise the following tie-breaking procedure:

  1.  Candidates with high mathematics scores will be given preference.

  2. If there is still a tie, the candidate with the better physics score will be given preference.

  3.  Candidates with a high percentage of marks in the qualifying exam will be given preference in the event of a continued tie following the aforementioned two steps.

  4.  After applying the aforementioned guidelines, the candidate with the older age will be given preference.
