Dum Dum Motijheel College (DDMC), Kolkata is regarded as one of the largest Government Sponsored colleges in West Bengal in Kolkata. Affiliated with West Bengal State University the college envisions a commitment to education seekers by guiding them with holistic education and achieving a status of excellence. The foundation of DDMC Kolkata took place on August 28, 1950.

The admission procedure follows the online method as per the guidelines of the West Bengal State University and the merit list is also shown online. Dum Dum Motijheel College, Kolkata conducts an online admission procedure for the students. The students are provided with undergraduate courses like B.A and B.Sc with multiple specialisations.
