Dream Institute of Technology (DIT), Kolkata was set up in 2006 on a sprawling 10-acre green Campus with the vision of providing innovative and quality technical education in order to prepare employable and industry-ready future professionals in the region. DIT Kolkata is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT).
Students can pursue 5 undergraduate (UG) courses at DIT Kolkata. All the courses are for the B.Tech degree in the following disciplines - Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Classes are conducted by highly skilled faculty members who work tirelessly to provide quality education and make the students industry-ready. Candidates need to qualify the 10+2 level examination, and get a valid score in JEE-Main/WBJEE to be eligible for admission to the B.Tech courses.
The Talent Transformation Cell of DIT Kolkata collaborates with organisations such as Accenture, Amazon and Capegemini, among others, to provide students with placement opportunities, in addition to arranging for pre-placement training and workshops.
DIT Kolkata provides the necessary infrastructural support to ensure the all-round development of the students. The Library has a large collection of books, journals, magazines, and 5 daily newspapers. The digital section gives students access to a host of e-resources as well. Students are accommodated in separate hostels for boys and girls, with facilities such as Wi-Fi internet, CCTV surveillance, gymnasium, common room and canteen. DIT Kolkata recognises the importance of an active lifestyle and has facilities for various sports and games on Campus. Regular classes are conducted in digital classrooms equipped with multimedia devices, while practical lessons take place in various specialised cutting-edge laboratories. The fully Wi-Fi-enabled Campus of DIT Kolkata has a cafeteria, medical unit, and shuttle facilities for all to avail.

Admission Procedure
Dream Institute of Technology, Kolkata conducts an admission procedure in which the students (co-ed) are required to score a qualifying marks in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. The students are provided with B.Tech courses in multiple specializations and M.Tech course in Power Electrics and Drives and Micro Electronics and VLSI design. The final admission details will be notified through the official website.
