Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute of Technology and Sports Complex, Kolkata is situated on a lush green campus at Dumdum, Kolkata. The campus is wi-fi-enabled and provides all necessary infrastructural facilities to ensure a high quality of campus and academic life for students.
SURTECH Kolkata houses 36 spacious smart classrooms equipped with audio-visual aid. There are air-conditioned seminar halls on campus equipped with a seating capacity of 300 for conducting several kinds of educational and non-educational seminars.
The central library of SURTECH Kolkata was inaugurated in 2009 and has currently expanded in both size and substance to take on its current form. According to the accession register the central library houses over 42,000 volumes and offers regular subscriptions to seven newspapers, seven journals, and seven magazines. In addition to this, students frequently purchase carrier-oriented newspapers and carrier-oriented periodicals to help them study for various competitive tests. The library also offers access to digital repositories including CD-ROMS, e-books, e-journals, periodicals, newspapers, B.O.G. reports, topic dictionaries, career guidebooks, quick references, and previous years' question papers (online and offline). The library can up to 90 students.
SURTECH Kolkata has 66 specialized departmental laboratories equipped with air-conditioning facilities as required. There are also two language labs equipping students with practical knowledge and understanding. There is a gymnasium, drone academy, cricket academy, and sports complex(indoor and outdoor) available on the campus offering outdoor sports facilities to maintain students’ physical fitness and holistic development. Additionally, there are two separate common rooms for boys and girls.
The campus offers student accommodation facilities with separate hostels for boys and girls. SURTECH Kolkata has a cafeteria that serves students wholesome, hygienic, and healthy meals. There is also an infirmary on campus with an on-call doctor equipped to handle medical emergencies.
