Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing, Pune (DDYPCN), is a premier institute of nursing education and research set up in Maharashtra in 2000. DDYPCN is a part of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, and recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai, and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
DDYPCN Pune was founded with the goal of providing students with an excellent education, in order for them to get in-depth practical understanding and develop skills.
DDYPCN Pune offers a 4-year undergraduate course in B.Sc. Nursing. Students qualifying 10+2 level examination with 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category candidates) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, are eligible to apply for the programme. Applications can be submitted online via the official website of DDYPCN Pune. Admission takes place on the basis of merit at the Entrance Test conducted by Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune.

There are 4 well-equipped laboratories- Fundamental of Nursing Laboratory, Child Health Nursing Laboratory, Community Health Nursing Laboratory, and Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing Laboratory. The Central Library has a vast number of books, journals and other texts, along with internet and digital facilities. There are two air-conditioned auditoriums, with seating capacities of 1000 and 250. The on-campus sports facility at DDYPCN Pune includes fields and courts for sports like football, cricket, basketball, and tennis. Regular sporting and cultural events are held in DDYPCN Pune campus. The campus is fully covered by Wi-Fi. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls, along with round-the-clock emergency medical services.

Admission Procedure
Dr D. Y. Patil College of Nursing, Pune conducts an online admission procedure. Students (co-ed) must qualify for 10+2 level examinations with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category candidates) with the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The students who apply for the undergraduate course are also required to qualify for the entrance test- All India Allied Health Entrance Test (AIAHCET), conducted by Dr D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune in order to be eligible for the undergraduate course of B.Sc Nursing.
DDYPCN Pune also offer postgraduate course in MSC and PhD in Nursing. Applicants for the MSC programme must hold a PostBasic or B.Sc. Nursing degree from an accredited nursing college. 2. Minimum marks of 55%. additionally, candidates for the PhD programme must possess a postgraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 55%. The All India Entrance Exam and individual interviews conducted by Dr D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, will be used to determine admission.
