Dr D. Y. Patil College of Ayurved and Research Centre (DDYPCARC), located in Pune, was established in 2000 and is regarded as one of the most prestigious Ayurveda institutes. Later in 2017, the institute was accredited by NABH as well. DDYPCARC Pune has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and University Grants Commission (UGC).
Students are taught by a faculty consisting of experienced and trained members. Besides, the non-teaching faculty assists the students in every way possible. The reputed institution of DDYPCARC Pune offers an undergraduate course - BAMS (5.5 years).
The admission process which is merit-based is conducted online. NEET eligibility is required for candidates. The requirement for the general category is 50 per cent and for the reserved category, 40 per cent marks are required in the NEET exam based on the All India Ranking. The candidates are needed to register themselves with the - AYUSH Admission Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) to begin their admission process.
DDYPCARC Pune has its own placement cell which assists students with internship opportunities and training. A huge library having more than 14000 books, 150+ theses/dissertations, and several national and international research/scientific journals, well-equipped labs with the latest amenities which are built keeping in mind the guidelines laid down by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, a yoga hall, separate hostels for boys and girls, indoor and outdoor sports complex for various games, a medical team providing support to students and faculty members, Wi-Fi enabled campus, classrooms equipped with smartboards, speakers, projectors, and microphones and a hygienically maintained cafeteria are amongst the facilities which the DDYPCARC Pune provides.

Admission Procedure
Dr D. Y. Patil College of Ayurved and Research Centre, Pune conducts an online and merit-based admission procedure for the students. The students are required to pass the 10+2 level with 50% aggregate marks (40% aggregate marks for reserved category) along with qualifying marks in National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). The candidates are required to register themselves with the - AYUSH Admission Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) to start their admission process for the course of BAMS.
In order to be admitted into MD and PhD courses offered by DDYCARC Pune, the Candidate must hold an MBBS degree from a recognized university and the admissions shall be done on the basis of the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET). Candidates applying for PhD courses must hold a Master of Ayurved Degree examination in (M.D.) from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate and shall qualify for an entrance exam.
