A special Doon University Student Aid Fund (DUSAF) is established by the Doon University to provide financial assistance to students based on poverty, satisfactory academic performance, topped with their conduct and behaviour. To help students get the exact right kind of atmosphere, the Central Library of the Doon University serves as a much needed gateway to culture and knowledge. This library is known to be having a large variety of resources of both physical and digital versions covering a wide range of topics. Additionally the DU Dehradun campus also has laboratories for different departments that grant practical expertise to the students. Technologically advanced classrooms that focus on interactive and participatory learning are one of the most distinct features of the campus. High speed internet services are available throughout the campus. Separate hostels for boys and girls with all necessary amenities and gyms are provided to students strictly on the basis of merit. Admission Procedure
The Doon University Entrance Test is used to determine admission to various academic programmes like B.Des, B.Com(Hons), B.B.A, B.A(Hons/Research), and B.Sc(Hons/Research). The Entrance Test is required to include all the applicants, even those who fall under the reserved category. If the number of applicants for an entrance test is less than the total intake for a course, the entrance test will not be held for that course, and admission will be granted on the basis of qualifying exam results. The online application form along with the prospectus is available on the website. Successful applicants called for admission should bring originals and attested copies of the required documents at the time of admission counselling.
DU Dehradun offers Postgraduate courses in M.A, M.Sc, MBA and PhD. Candidates for postgraduate admission must have graduated with at least 50% honours in a related subject from an accredited university. The qualifying examination, followed by a group discussion and an individual interview, will determine admission.

Scholarships
The DU Dehradun has established the Doon University Student Aid Fund (DUSAF) out of the student aid fee and funds/donations from institutions, people, the Central/State Government, charity trusts, and other sources to provide financial assistance and support to distinguished and disadvantaged students. The DUSAF is awarded at the admission point and is based on poverty, satisfactory academic performance, and a student's show of good conduct and behavior. Students in the third, fifth, seventh, and ninth semesters will be considered for DUSAF. The DUSAF will only be issued for a year.
