Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Panaji (DCAS Panaji) under the foundation of Dempo Charities Trust was established in 1962 and is located in the Miramar region of Goa. DCAS Panaji puts significance on regional languages and enables students to write papers in their mother tongue. The infrastructure of DCAS Panaji occupies an expansive area having superficial classrooms Departmental buildings, sports grounds, a Library, and gymnasiums.
The artistic, cultural, and sports-centric environment of the institute reflects the surrounding area beyond the campus boundary. DCAS Panaji offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses with B.A. and M.A. degrees in the fields of almost all humanities and social science subjects. B.Sc. are also offered that cover all the generic disciplines involved in science and M.Sc. degree in Chemistry and also a Department of Biotechnology.
DCAS Panaji aids students with research in their interest area and makes arrangements to publish such academic papers. The faculty train and nurture the students aptly, which ultimately reflects in their academic results and overall conviction in the expression of opinion and critical thoughts. The students have also proven to be meritorious by appearing in other examinations outside the college curriculum and have extended credits to their teachers for mentoring them with sheer care and adequate guidance.
