Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), located in Jabalpur, was established in 2018 with the aim to build the primacy of the laws of eternal values and provide better knowledge of legal advancement. The government institution has been approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Students are assisted by knowledgeable faculty members who are the best in their field. The faculty members- both teaching and non-teaching faculties are dedicated to helping the students. The co-ed institution of DNLU Jabalpur offers the undergraduate course of B.A., LL.B(Hons.). The admission procedure of Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur is conducted online. All students must have passed their 10+2 school leaving test from a recognised board of secondary education. It is mandatory for students to qualify for the Common Law Admission Test and the admission depends on having a valid score on the Common Law Admission Test.

A range of scholarships are provided by DNLU Jabalpur for meritorious students from economically weaker sections by the state of M.P., other states, and the Indian government. The Madhya Pradesh State Government provides various scholarships such as the Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Yojna, Mukhya Mantri Jankalyan Yojna, Pratibha Yojna, Goan Ki Beti Yojna, Pratibha Kiran Yojna, etc. Importantly, candidates from other states are also eligible for the scholarships regarding the norms and regulations of their individual states. Students are helped to secure internship opportunities during their programs by The Internship Committee of the University. The members assist aspirants to become well trained for the future.

The basic amenities provided to students by the DNLU Jabalpur include a large traditional library, a digital library for e-learning, hostel accommodation (2 for boys and 1 for girls), indoor recreation room, a table tennis room and outdoor gaming facilities including a football ground, a cricket ground, a volleyball court, a tennis court and a basketball court as well, common rooms for playing indoor games, medical facilities, on-campus Wi-Fi connectivity, well-furnished classrooms, a large moot court and a cafeteria.

Admission Procedure

The admission process of Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur is done online. The students (co-ed) are required to fill up the application form that is available on the website. The students are required to have passed their Higher Secondary Examinations from a recognised board. The students are to qualify for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The admissions are merit-based.  

The Common Law Admission Test, administered under the authority of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) Consortium, is the primary means of admission to the Post Graduate Program (LLM). A Master's or an  M.Phil. in Law with a minimum cumulative GPA of 55% is required for eligibility in the PHD programme. For the purpose of enrolling candidates in the PhD programme, the University will hold a CLAT exam under the 'DNLU National Level Entrance Test - DNLET'.
