Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore (DAV, Indore) formerly known as the University of Indore, was established in 1964 by an Act of Madhya Pradesh Legislature. DAV, Indore is a state university with authority over Indore as well as seven tribally predominate districts in the Indore division: Alirajpur, Barwani, Burhanpur, Dhar Jhabua, Khargone, and Khandwa. Recognised by the University Grants CommissionDAV, Indore meets the educational demands of Indore, the state's most industrialised city, while on the other, it provides for the needs of seven tribal regions that are socially and economically backward. DAV, Indore is Madhya Pradesh's first state university to be accredited by UGC and NAAC with a "A+" grade. Admission Procedure

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indor (DAV, Indore) follows an online method of admission. Applicants to DAV, Indore are selected based on their merit and eligibility criteria. DAV,Indore offers Undergraduate, Diploma and Post graduate courses under the faculty of Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Management and Law.
Aspiring BBA applicants must appear for the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) and selection of the applicants ar edone based on the secured ranks and marks on the entrance examination. Aspiring BE applicants must appear for the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) nd selection of the applicants ar edone based on the secured ranks and marks on the entrance examination.
Aspiring BA, BBA LLB, BBA (Undergraduate) applicants must have passed Higher Secondary Examination from any recognized board in any stream. Aspiring BCom applicants to DAV, Indore must have passed Higher Secondary Examination from any recognized board in Commerce stream. According to the concerned department, Aspiring BSc, BE and BTech applicants to DAV, Indore must have passed Higher Secondary Examination from any recognized board with respective Science and Engineering subjects. Aspiring Post Graduate applicants to DAV, Indore must have secured BAchelors Degree from any recognized University with respective subjects according to the concerned department.
Aspiring Diploma and PG Diploma applicants to DAV, Indore must have passed Higher Secondary Examination and Bachelors Degree respectively with respective subjects according to the concerned department.
