Datta Meghe College of Pharmacy, Wardha (DMCOP) was established in June 2019 and is affiliated to Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed to be University). DMCOP, Wardha aims at creating skilled and competent professionals through its first-rate higher education system. DMCOP, Wardha prepares the students for the future, it creates professionals who are compassionate, understanding, and knowledgeable so that they make contributions in the field of pharmacy and consequently society for the betterment of humans and mankind. The college also aims at providing health care services to the needy and the marginalized population of our nation.
DMCOP, Wardha currently offers two courses in pharmacy namely Bachelor of Pharmacy which is a 4-year course, and to get admission into first-year B.pharmacy the applicant must be an Indian National and attain the age of 17 on or before 31st December of the year of their admission into the course with a minimum educational qualification of passing 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as their core subjects along with either Maths or Biology and securing a minimum of 45% aggregate with the above subjects taken together. The second course offered at DMCOP, Wardha is a Diploma in Pharmacy which is a 2-year course, and to get admission into first-year B.pharmacy the applicant must be an Indian National and attain the age of 17 on or before 31st December of the year of their admission into the course with a minimum educational qualification of passing 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as their core subjects along with either Maths or Biology and securing a minimum of 35% aggregate with the above subjects taken together.
DMCOP, Wardha consists of highly experienced faculty who take the responsibility of nurturing the students into knowledgeable and respectable professionals. DMCOP, Wardha consists of a training and placement cell tasked with providing beneficial internship and placement opportunities for its students. Industrial visits are organised for its students to give them an idea of how the pharmaceutical industry functions so that it can help them with their careers in this industry.
DMCOP, Wardha infrastructural facilities include numerous labs for practical classes for its students. DMCOP, Wardha has 3 Pharmaceutics labs, 2 Pharmacology labs, 1 Human Anatomy and Physiology Lab, 3 Pharmaceutical Chemistry labs, 1 Pharmaceutical Analysis lab, 1 Pharmaceutical lab, 1 machine room, and 1 Central Instrumental room. DMCOP, Wardha has 1 library and reading room which has a collection of books, medical journals, references books, etc which the students can access. DMCOP, Wardha’s seminar hall is used for conducting meetings, seminars, and workshops for the students. The campus consists of a sports club that organises sporting activities for its students. Apart from that, the campus is also equipped with a gymnasium for its students who prefer to keep fit and healthy. DMCOP, Wardha has a wifi-enabled campus and provides a list of associated hostels for both girls and boys. The cafeteria serves appetizing food at economical rates.
