Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam (DSNLU) is a recognised law college located in Andhra Pradesh. Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam offers a 5 year undergraduate course in B.A, LL.B(Hons). Admission at DSNLU Visakhapatnam’s undergraduate course is strictly done on the basis of the CLAT(Common Law Admission Test). However, all the other courses offered have their own application procedures and eligibility criteria. Top notch companies like Thomson Reuters Legal Managed Services, Legality Simplified, and Technosoft Solutions, are known to be participating in DSNLU’s placement drive. To equip the students with the ability of understanding and analysing real-life cases with ease, DSNLU Visakhapatnam has a world class library that consists of a diverse range of books and journals. In addition to the same it also has a moot court led by the Moot and Advocacy Society (MAS) to improve students' skills. Admission Procedure
Admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam is done through CLAT(Common Law Admission Test). Candidates must also qualify for their 10+2 level examinations with 45% marks in aggregate in order to be eligible for the B.A. LL.B course. All the other courses have their own application procedures and eligibility criteria.
Candidates can also apply to the PhD, LLM, and LLD courses. For admission to the LLM programme, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in law. Candidates applying for the PhD programme must have a master's degree in law or an LL.M. with a minimum of 55% of the possible points from a recognised university or its equivalent from an accredited institution. To apply for the LLD course, a candidate must hold a PhD in law from a recognised university, or hold a degree that is equivalent from a recognised institution or university.
