C.V. Raman Global University, Bhubaneswar (CGU) is a private engineering and management university situated in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. CGU Bhubaneswar traces its inception back to the C.V. Raman College of Engineering (CVRCE), established as a degree-level engineering college in 1997 by Sanjib Kumar Rout under the aegis of the C.V. Raman Group of Institutions. CGU Bhubaneswar came into being in 2020 when CVRCE was renamed CGU Bhubaneswar and formally conferred university status with the passing of the “Odisha Act 01 of 2020”.
CGU Bhubaneswar is a University Grants Commission (UGC)-approved university. CGU Bhubaneswar is headed by the chairman Sanjib Kumar Rout and vice chancellors Shailja Rout and Prof. B.S. Satyanarayana. The college motto is Quality Education for New Millennium.
CGU Bhubaneswar is an engineering and management university that offers numerous diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral programs. A wide variety of degrees are offered by CGU Bhubaneswar, some of which include undergraduate degrees like B.Tech., B.Sc., B.C.A., B.H.A., B.B.A. and postgraduate degrees like P.G.D.M., M.Tech., M.Sc., M.B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. CGU Bhubaneswar houses four primary faculties - Engineering and Technology, Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Management and Law, and Humanities and Social Science; CGU also comprises the C.V. Raman Polytechnic department and the Ranjita Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology under its aegis.

CGU Bhubaneswar curriculum is practical-oriented as it is premised around “learning by doing”. It follows the choice-based credit system (CBCS) in the assessment of its students, also offering the option of credit transfer to SWAYAM courses. The university also offers financial aid through scholarships to assist students from economically weaker sections of society with their higher-education goals. Some of the scholarship programmes offered by CGU Bhubaneswar include the "CVRCE Students' Welfare Trust Scholarship" and the "AICTE Pragati & Saksham Scholarship Scheme". CGU Bhubaneswar is situated on an aesthetically-landscaped sprawling campus equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities. The campus houses well-equipped classrooms, department-specific laboratories, conference halls, spacious auditoriums, library facilities, and residential housing for students and professors. CGU hosts a corporate social responsibility (CSR) wing to make their contribution to raising social welfare through various programmes and campaigns such as blood donation camps, AIDS Awareness programmes, engineers without borders (EWB), cyclone relief distribution, and Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. CGU Bhubaneswar has also launched eco-friendly practices and programmes for energy conservation, renewable energy, water harvesting, carbon neutrality, plantation, and waste management as part of its sustainability initiative.

Admission Procedure
The C.V. Raman Global University, Bhubaneswar(co-ed) offers B.Tech and Polytechnic degrees in a variety of engineering fields, including mechanical, civil, marine, computer science, electronics, and telecommunications. Other undergraduate degrees available include B.Sc, B.B.A, B.H.A, and B.Pharm. Admissions are open to all students who have completed 10+2 or equivalent. The C.V Raman Global University All India Entrance Test (CGET), the Joint Entrance Examinations (JEE) Main scores, and the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) counselling process would determine the final selection for the B.Tech programmes. Admission to UG hotel management programmes is based on merit, whereas enrollment to other UG courses such as B. Pharm and B.Sc are based on the C.V Raman Global University All India Entrance Test (CGET) scores. Students who are interested in applying can do so online at the CGU official website.
CVRGU Bhubaneswar also offers post-graduate degrees (MBA / MA /M.SC / M.Tech) degree with various specializations. Interested candidates can apply through their official website. To apply for their postgraduate degree candidate must qualify for an entrance examination C.V. Raman Global University All India Entrance Test (CGET). For MBA degree candidates must qualify for CAT/ MAT/XAT/OJEE/PGAT. GATE Entrance examination required M.tech admission.
