College of Pharmacy, Madras Medical College, Chennai (CPMMC Chennai) is the first college in India to inaugurate an institute serving education solely in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. Under the affiliation of The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, many courses across undergraduate and postgraduate programs are introduced and executed successfully through the visioned pathway. The educational curriculums are performed under three specified departments that are the Department of Pharmaceutics, the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Department of Pharmacognosy.
CPMMC Chennai organizes career opportunities, job training, industrial visits, campus recruitments, and innovative idea-generation programs. CPMMC Chennai provides pharmacy students with hands-on training on recent technologies so that they become industry-ready. To expand the students' knowledge of pharmacy, top-notch lectures by seasoned specialists in the area are organized.
CPMMC Chennai provides students with a wealth of employment options and keeps them abreast of current industry trends. The third-year students also participate in a 30-day hospital training program in the Government General Hospital's several departments, including Nephrology, Diabetology, Cardiology, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Medical Stores, and Community Pharmacy Centers (each dept. 5 days). Additionally, the students work in hospital pharmacies.

Admission Procedure
College of Pharmacy, Madras Medical College, Chennai follows an online admission procedure. It offers UG and PG courses under the branches of B.Pharm and M.Pharm. For all categories of seats in B.Pharm and M.Pharm, admissions are made on the basis of merit via counselling, in accordance with the rule of reservation, the selection committee's choice of applicants, and the availability of seats.
