College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar (COEB), was established in 1999 and is a part of the Kaustav Group of Institutions. A reputed private College for technical studies, COE Bhubaneswar  is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha.

College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar, offers 7 undergraduate (UG) courses, all of them for the degree of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech). The courses are: B.Tech in Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Apart from the aforementioned courses, COE Bhubaneswar  also offers 9 postgraduate courses, 7 among them being Master of Technology (M.Tech) degrees, along with Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA). Students of COE Bhubaneswar  get placed in well known organisations such as Infosys, ADP, TATA, Amazon, Vodafone, IBS, IBM, Wipro, Mindtree, and many more. Applications for admission are accepted online through the official website. The eligibility criteria for the B.Tech programmes is passing 10+2 level examinations with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category students) in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/ Biology, as well as having a valid scorecard of JEE-Main.

College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar has experienced and dedicated faculty in all departments as well as expert technical assistants to aid the learning ability of students. COE Bhubaneswar  provides the best possible infrastructure for the learners on campus. A well-stocked library with over 55000 volumes of books, journals, and other related texts provides students way access to a vast amount of information. There is one hostel called Koustav Residency, which comes with furnished rooms, and mess food for minimal additional charges. The learning experience is aided by multiple specialised and well-equipped laboratories and auditoriums fitted with multimedia devices, the latter also being availed for various academic and cultural events. COE Bhubaneswar  recognises the importance of physical activities in the life of students and has ample provisions for the same. Facilities are available for cricket, football, basketball, badminton, volleyball, yoga, and martial arts. A fully equipped indoor gymnasium is also present on the campus. The cafeteria specialties include fresh fruit juices, milkshakes, and ice-creams, while buffet meals are also provided. Routine medical checkup is provided to the students at the on-campus Doctor's Chamber. COE Bhubaneswar  also provides transport facilities to all hostel boarders as well as day scholars. Fleet of buses ply regularly on stipulated routes between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Transportation also provided for campus placement drives, study tours and industry visits.

Admission Procedure

Candidates who want to apply to College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar, can do so via their official website. For admission to the B.Tech courses, candidates should pass 10+2 level examinations with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category students) in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology. Candidates should also have a valid scorecard of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) to become eligible for admission.

COE Bhubaneswar also offers postgraduate degrees M. Tech / MBA / MCA programme with various specializations. Interested candidates can apply through their official website. To apply for their degree candidate must qualify for any national entrance examination GATE /  OJEE with valid marks. Final admission is based on a personal interview and merit basis.
