Admission Procedure
The admission process at Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore is based on the candidate's performance in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main exam for the undergraduate engineering courses with Bachelor of Engineering [BE] - Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering; Bachelor of Technology [B. Tech] - Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science; Bachelor of Architecture [B.Arch] in Architecture. Eligible candidates can apply through the TNEA or JEE Main counseling process. For the postgraduate engineering program with a Master of Engineering [ME] in Computer Science and Engineering, Engineering Design, and Communication System, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score is desirable. To be eligible for a Master of Business Administration [MBA] the applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
