Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi is the premiere autonomous university in Cochin that was established in February 1986. CUSAT Kochi pledges to set its aim at contributing to Graduate, Postgraduate, and research studies in the field of Technology, Applied Sciences, Industry, Social Sciences, and Management.

Through nurturing quality and excellence for four and a half decades and the successful execution of its noble mission CUSAT Kochi has carved a niche in the Times Higher Education World Ranking. CUSAT Kochi has been a choice of people across the globe for years as CUSAT Kochi strives hard to produce human resources inheriting excellence and competency in the global arena.

Currently, CUSAT Kochi rears more than 9000 students under its umbrella. Under the status of autonomy, CUSAT Kochi offers a wide range of courses under various specialized courses across science, management and business administration, technology, etc. To get admitted to CUSAT Kochi the candidates have to appear for counseling sessions followed by the marks obtained in the prerequisite examinations from any recognized board or University.

CUSAT Kochi has a well-functioning Central Placement Cell that is quite active in offering the students with various training and placement opportunities. The Career Guidance & Placement Bureau of CUSAT Kochi skillfully juggles the need of our vivacious students with those of their clients. Admission Procedure

Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi conducts its admission processes according to the admission guidelines of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and the University grants Commission (UGC).

Students interested in applying to CUSAT Kochi can apply through the official website of the university. The selection of applicants for the undergraduate degree courses is made according to the preferred merit percentage secured by a student in their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised university. For the postgraduate degree courses, the selection of the applicants is made upon the preferred merits secured by the candidate in their undergraduate degree courses. The final selection of the candidates is made according to a counselling process.
