Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMCH), Ludhiana, was established in the year 1894. This pioneering medical work of the Greenfield sisters was the trailblazer of the Medical Training and Health Care Service Programme of the present CMCH, Ludhiana. Admission Procedure
Admission to Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana is done online and based on merit. The students (co-ed) are required to pass their higher secondary examinations in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. For the MBBS and BDS, the students are required to qualify for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) exam. For the B.Sc Nursing, Allied Science and B.PT, the students are required to attend and qualify for the Under Graduate Admission Written Test conducted by CMCH, Ludhiana.
The Admissions process Written tests will be given in the areas of physics, chemistry, and biology (for students in 11th and 12th grades in the 10+2 system), as well as tests in general aptitude and English. Each subject will include 20 questions, for a total of 100 questions. All questions will be multiple-choice with four options.
The test is intended to assess subject-matter knowledge and comprehension. The examination also assesses the applicant's reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. There will be no negative marking for incorrect responses. Christian Minority (Service Commitment category) students are required to take the Bible test. The test is conducted in English and the students are given multiple-choice questions. 50 questions are to be answered.
