Currently, CARE, Chennai possesses 2500+ students enrolled in their respective fields. Under the status of autonomy, CARE, Chennai offers a total of 74 academic programs from the different faculties of Commerce, Architecture, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Pharmacy, and Physiotherapy.
CARE, Chennai also caters to the need of socially and economically backward and underprivileged students from different spheres of society. Up to 100% of scholarships are granted to deserving candidates. Admission Procedure
Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, Chennai (CARE, Chennai) conducts its admission procedure according to the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Medical Council of India (MCI), Bar Council of India (BCI), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The students interested in seeking admission at the esteemed Institute can apply through the university's admission department.
The admissions for the undergraduate courses (B.Sc, B.Opt, B.Pharm, BA.LLB, BBA.LLB) are made according to the merits secured by the students in their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board in the relevant subject discipline. The selection of the applicants for the postgraduate degree courses (M.Sc, M.Pharm, LLM) in various specialization is made according to the merits secured by the applicants in their undergraduate courses in the relevant subject discipline from a recognised university. For the doctoral degree courses, the selection of the applicants is made according to the merits secured by the applicants in the postgraduate degree course or MPhil degree course in the relevant subject discipline from a recognised university.
