CU, Mohali also has a seminar hall, a conference hall, and an open-air theatre present in the vicinity of the campus for cultural and academic activities. Separate hostels with all necessary modern amenities and gyms are available for boys and girls. Fully equipped courts and grounds for sporting activities are also a part of the University campus. Students living within a 100 km radius of the campus can avail of the bus/shuttle service operated by the campus.

Chandigarh University, Mohali conducts a divergent process of admission for the students (co-ed) while matching the eligibility criteria for applying in the courses under B.E, BBA, B.Sc, with multiple specialisations, BPT, B.Optom, B.A. and many more while qualifying in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). The minimum criteria that all students applying to the various undergraduate courses should meet are qualifying 10+2 level examinations from a recognised board with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
