Chandigarh Engineering College, Greater Mohali (CEC Greater Mohali), is under the Chandigarh Group of Colleges now, which initiated with the flagship of engineering programs at the time of inception in the year 2001. CEC Greater Mohali is affiliated with IKGPTU [IK Gujral Punjab Technical University], Jalandhar approved by AICTE.
The campus is located in Landran, a locality on the outskirts of the city of Mohali, Punjab. CEC Greater Mohali strives to be one of the finest engineering branches in Chandigarh, India, with industry-academic exposure to learning. CEC Greater Mohali supports Industry Collaborative Laboratories for the students to expand their technical creative instincts. To explore the students' creative wings further, it also has a structured Incubation Centre to help the students transform their ‘ideas’ into ‘products’. The laboratories are pristine and distinctive with high-functioning apparatus and technology services. The Engineering College of the Chandigarh Group of Colleges is the largest and oldest among others, which creates both a modern and postmodern ambiance starting with the old architecture of the building to the updated educational and industry-related conduct of the institute.
Chandigarh Engineering College, Greater Mohali offers bachelor's degrees in six streams of engineering that stretch over 8 semesters. The subjects that are contemplated under the six programs are Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Information Technology (IT), Electronics and Communications, and Mechanical Engineering. Apart from Artificial Intelligence (AI), a Master’s program is also offered for all other courses available for undergraduate degrees. All the B.Tech are done based on JEE rank through online counselling conducted by PTU, Jalandhar.
The punctilious faculty garners the academic excellence that they built through the inspiring teaching system consistently. Having said that, over 800 Patents have been filed and 3000 research papers have been published from all the streams of Engineering. CEC Greater Mohali increasingly has exposure to global standing by participating in national and International Competitions held at Cansat, USA, and Formula North Competition, Canada. The students were also encouraged to participate in innovative projects with funding from DST, the Government of India, and major industry houses. The international associations extend students with on-the-job training with internships and other skill-based training which ultimately reflects the students into placements with Globally renowned companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, American Express, etc with the highest package up to 36 Lacs/annum. CEC Greater Mohali aids its students with scholarships both based on merit and categories as well. They also help students to access Students Loans and other funding options to finance their education e.g. FINANCEPEER. The admission process is conducted online through the college website, after the declaration of JEE results by PTU.

For online admission at CEC Greater Mohali candidates must visit CEC Greater Mohali website (https://www.cgc.edu.in/) , upload requisite documents, and pay fee via Online payment mode.
For offline admission, candidates must visit the admissions counter and submit the form and five passport-size photos in addition to original docs. The admission will be confirmed following the completion of fees and an eligibility check.
