A state-of-the-art air-conditioned library has been provided by the Central University of Punjab, Bhatinda with a stable wi-fi connection. The library comprises a vast amount of printed and digital resources including over 50127 titles. The library also subscribes to 38 international and national print journals. The digital library of the university subscribes to a large number of electronic resources through the e-ShodhSindhu Consortium and independently. The digital library also ensures access to the American Chemical Society, American Physical Society, Annual Reviews, JSTOR, Oxford University Press, Project Muse, Sage, Springer Link, Taylor & Francis, Wiley-Blackwell, etc.
The Department of Mass Communication and Media Studies has a Media Lab to assist in practical learning and observations of the students in the spheres of Television Production, Filmmaking, Photography, and Page Designing. The Computer Centre provides computational facilities to all the users within the University. Multiple labs come under the computer center. The Administrative Block, Academic Block, and Hostels are also provided with additional bandwidth from the two of the leashed lines of the Computer Center providing 1Gbps National Knowledge Network bandwidth. There is a central Instrumentation laboratory was established and equipped with 15 state-of-the-art instruments of common use type to support research activities.
A health center functions under the supervision of a Medical Officer to provide staff members and students with general medical care, first aid, and referral services. CUP Bhatinda is exemplary with respect to its sports infrastructure. It provides the following outdoor sporting facilities- Badminton Courts, Basketball Courts, Volleyball Courts, Handball courts, Football fields, Hockey fields, Lawn Tennis Courts, Kabaddi courts, and Kho-Kho Ground. There are also indoor sporting facilities too for carrom, chess, and table tennis. Recreational facilities provided by the CUP Bhatinda are a Yoga and a Meditation zone. A fitness Centre equipped with the latest work-out machinery has been provided.
There are a total of 36 spacious, well-ventilated classrooms equipped with ICT facilities to create a conducive teaching-learning environment. For residential purposes, 4 Hostels, two for boys and 2 for girls, with a total capacity of 1816 students are there. Amenities at the hostels include computer labs, a common room, reading rooms, and sports facilities.
The spacious 190-seater seminar hall is utilized to host important meetings, seminars, and other academic events. The auditorium is also well-decorated and spacious with modern A/V equipment for hosting cultural events, fests, etc. is also housed inside the campus.
