The Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod (CUK Kasaragod) was established in 2009 with a motto of 'caring wisdom'. Since its inception, CUK Kasaragod has pledged commitments towards social, moral, and academic development followed by spiritual and intellectual growth. CUK Kasaragod is located in the northernmost district of Kerala, Kasaragod.
Under the status of autonomy, CUK Kasaragod offers 39 courses of M.A., M. Sc, MBA, M. Phil, L.L.M, M. Com, and Post graduate diploma courses under 8 streams. The vast 310 acres of campus provide an ample number of facilities to the students. The admission procedure of CUK Kasaragod is conducted in online mode. The selection procedure is held based on merit and eligibility criteria. The highly expert faculties provide the pupils with constant guidance toward multi-dimensional development. The students repose faith in the rigorous efforts of the faculties.
CUK Kasaragod offers its students multiple scholarships based on a few terms and conditions. The National Scholarships offered are the Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities, Post Matric Scholarships for the physically challenged, Financial aid for Education of the wards of socially backward people, PG Indira Gandhi Single Girl Child Scholarship, E-Grants for Fisherman's Children, Directorate of Collegiate Education.

Admission Procedure
Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod follows an online admission procedure. CUK Kasargod offers one undergraduate programme in B.A and several postgraduate programmes in M.A, M.Sc, MBA, M.P.H, LL.M, M. Com, and PG diplomas. CUK Kasargod also offers PhD programmes.
Admission into UG and PG programmes are done based on merit and eligibility criteria of students. For Ph.D students must qualify the necessary national entrance examinations.
Faculty
The highly competent and expert faculty of the Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod provides the utmost care and attention towards the multi-dimensional growth and development of students. They provide constant guidance to students so that they receive the necessary knowledge and get opportunities for industry relevant skill development. Under their support and guidance, the students are encouraged to undertake numerpous research projects for the purpose of publishing and presentation at salient meetings, conferences, events etc.
Placements
The Central Placement Cell of the Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod collaborates with Department Placement Cells under the direction of its director. The Cell organises all initiatives for preparing students for placements through training in soft skills and professional development. It runs programmes that keep students focused on becoming employable. To improve graduates' employability, the Cell also helps departments offer elective, open, and value-added courses and engage in Memorandums of Understanding with potential companies. It encourages businesses to hire from the on-campus talent pool and enables campus placement initiatives.

Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod offers numerous scholarship like the Post Matric Scholarships for students with disabilities, Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/ Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers, PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for single girl child, PG Scholarship for University rank holders (1st and 2nd), E-Grants for Fishermen's Children. Directorate of Collegiate Education provides the following - "C.H Mohammed Koya Scholarships", Hindi Scholarship, State Merit Scholarship, "Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship", Blind/PH/Deaf Scholarships, "Vidyasamunnathi Scholarship of Kerala State Welfare Corporation for Forward Communities Limitied (KSWCFC)".
