Canara Engineering College, Mangalore (CEC Mangalore) was established in 2001 by the Canara High School Association as a new millennium project. Located in the naturally beautiful Benjanapadavu area of Mangalore, Karnataka, CEC Mangalore has emerged as a respected engineering institution in the region where technology and traditional values meet. CEC Mangalore is the realization of the founder, the late Sri Ammembal Subba Rao Pai's, vision of providing quality education to the underprivileged at a reasonable cost. Today, CEC Mangalore has well-qualified and motivated faculty, modern infrastructure, and outstanding learning facilities. CEC Mangalore is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Visveswaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi.

The library at CEC Mangalore is another standout feature, with a collection of more than 47,000 books, including the general Book bank and SC/ST Book Bank. The library subscribes to 52 Indian Journals, 16 technical magazines, and 03 International Journals in print versions for various departments of UG and PG students and Faculty Staff. Additionally, students have access to a vast collection of online books, articles, and journals from various publishers. For those interested in sports, CEC Mangalore has dedicated gyming and sports facilities that provide specialized courts for games like Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Foot Ball, Throw Ball, Hand Ball, Ball Badminton, Shuttle, Cricket, Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, and Athletics with a 200Mts track. CEC Mangalore also provides comfortable hostel facilities for both boys and girls, which are located within the campus. A community health centre is also located within to look after the medical needs of the students, as well as other members.The mess and canteen serve both North Indian and South Indian cuisine and provide scrumptious food to the students. Additionally, CEC Mangalore also offers shuttle and banking services. Admission Procedure

Canara Engineering College, Mangalore offers only a BE degree. CEC Mangalore follows an online admission procedure and the form can be obtained from the college's website. For BE admission, candidates must pass HSC(10+2) with 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from any recognized board and the final admission will be done on the basis of marks obtained in any one of the entrance examinations (JEE-Main/COMEDK-UGET/KCET).
