Camellia School of Engineering and Technology (CSET), Kolkata was established in 2008 under the aegis of the Camellia Educare Trust. Located over a sprawling 8 acre campus at Nadbag, Barasat, CSET, Kolkata has the vision of imparting world-class knowledge in engineering and technology among the students. CSET, Kolkata is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), and West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTVE&SD).

Students can pursue 6 undergraduate (UG), 1 postgraduate (PG) and 2 diploma (DIP) courses at CSET, Kolkata. The UG courses on offer are Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. CSET, Kolkata also offers diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering, as well as a postgraduate course- Master of Technology in Civil Engineering. Forms for admission to the aforementioned courses are available on the official website of CSET, Kolkata, which need to be filled up and submitted via email in order to register for selection.

The Training and Placement Cell of CSET, Kolkata provides industrial training and arranges for campus recruitment for students at various companies such as Simplex Infrastructure Ltd., PWD, Hindustan Motors Ltd., Videocon, Shipping Corporation of India Ltd., EMT Megatherm, CESC Ltd., BSNL, Paharpur Cooling Towers, Infosys, Wipro, etc. CSET, Kolkata provides the necessary infrastructure to ensure the overall development of the students. The Central Library of CSET, Kolkata houses over 23000 books along with 250 national and international journals, 82 engineering and management magazines, and multiple major daily newspapers and newsletters. A Book Bank facility with 15000 books is present for the students to avail themselves. CSET, Kolkata also has access to a vast range of digital and online publications, including subscriptions to e-journals such as IEEE Computer, IETE Journal of Research, IEE Technical Review, Asia Pacific, Business Decision (IIM Kolkata), Journal of Information Science, and Journal of Education. The Library also has a software-based networking system.

CSET, Kolkata has spacious classrooms for regular academia and over 60 specialised state-of-the-art departmental laboratories for students to work in during practical sessions. Recognising the importance of a sound body to accompany the mind of young scholars, CSET, Kolkata has provisions for multiple sports activities within the campus as well.

Admission Procedure

For admission to the Camellia School of Engineering and Technology, Kolkata eligible candidates who have passed 10+2 board examination and secured a valid rank in the entrance examinations West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) / Joint Entrance Examinations Main (JEE Main) for B.Tech and Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics (JEXPO) for Diploma can download the admission form from the official website of CSET, Kolkata, following which the filled-up form needs to be mailed to the designated email id in order to complete the registration process and move on with the subsequent admission procedures.
