Camellia Institute of Technology and Management (CITM), Hooghly was established in 2009 with the mission of training world-class engineers locally. CITM, Hooghly is a venture of the Onkar Society for Engineering and Technological Research and Development, and a part of the Camilla Group, est. 1990. CITM, Hooghly is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). Students can pursue 5 undergraduate (UG) and 2 diploma (DIP) courses at the Institute.
The UG courses are B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering; while the diploma courses are in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The dedicated and experienced faculty at CITM, Hooghly works tirelessly towards imparting quality education and ensuring the holistic growth of young minds. Candidates need to qualify their 10th-grade examination and obtain a valid JEXPO rank for admission to the diploma courses, and 10+2 examination along with a valid WBJEE or JEE Main rank in the case of B.Tech courses.
CITM, Hooghly provides the best available infrastructure in the 11-acre Campus for the overall development of the students. CITM, Hooghly Library is well-stocked with a vast collection of printed texts, and also provides Digital Library facilities. Separate hostel provisions for boys and girls along with mess facilities are present within the Institute premises. The entire Campus of CITM, Hooghly is Wi-Fi enabled. The students are taught in spacious classrooms, and the practical sessions are conducted in over 60 specialised laboratories equipped with modern facilities. Recognising the importance of an active lifestyle, CITM, Hooghly also provides sports facilities and has large playgrounds with amenities for football, cricket, etc. CITM, Hooghly has a cafeteria where the students can avail food and beverages at nominal rates.
There are medical facilities with provisions for first aid and pharmacies, staffed by medical officers to tend to the students and staff of the Institute. CITM, Hooghly also has seminar halls and an electrical generator for power backup, as well as shuttle services for the benefit of the students.

Admission Procedure
For admission to the Camellia Institute of Technology and Management, Hooghly eligible candidates who have passed 10+2 board examinations and have secured a valid rank in the entrance examinations need to go through the counseling procedure and opt for CITM, Hooghly during the process. Post-counselling, the selected candidates have to go through subsequent procedures to ensure admission in the CITM, Hooghly. Direct admission for Diploma candidates is done in accordance with approval from WBSCTVE&SD.
